Structure & Responsibilities

Giac Tam Meditation Center (GTMC) functions as a non-profit organization governed by a Board of Directors. 
 

Current Board Members

• President: Tam Tran (Dharma name: Thich Thong Giai)

• Vice-President: Phong Nguyen (Dharma name: Chanh Tam Tue)

• Secretary: Pearl Pham (Dharma name: TN. Vien Thanh Chau)

• Treasurer: Hoang Ton (Dharma name: Chanh Tam Tri)

• Director: Lieng Bui (Dharma name: TN. Thien Chan)

 

The Board of Directors has the flexibility to expand its membership as needed. Additional board members may be included from among resident monks/nuns, dedicated lay practitioners, and supportive friends to support the center's needs.

Annual Reporting and Community Participation

Each April, the Board provides an annual report to the community during the Sangha meeting. This report includes updates on organizational activities, financial status, and future plans. 

 

Members of GTMC actively participate in the election of new Board members during the annual meeting. Although non-members are welcome to attend, only members are eligible to vote in the election.
