GTMC welcomes families and children to participate in a supportive community setting focused on imparting the principles of Buddha's teachings within a secure and enjoyable environment. The program encourages participants to integrate mindfulness and meditation practices into their daily lives, whether at school, at home, or during recreation.

Designed for children ages 6 to 12 and teens ages 13-17, the program operates on a donation basis, and advance registration is required.

GTMC is committed to hosting “A Day of Mindfulness Retreat” for children and teens, with each age group participating in their own dedicated retreat every three months. These retreats aim to nurture mindfulness and meditation skills in age-appropriate settings, offering a welcoming space where participants can deepen their practice, connect with peers, and receive guidance from experienced facilitators. Each retreat is thoughtfully structured to be engaging and supportive, helping children and teens explore mindfulness techniques through interactive activities, group discussions, and guided meditation sessions. By participating, attendees strengthen their sense of community, learn valuable tools for emotional well-being, and gain confidence in integrating mindfulness into their daily lives.
