GTMC welcomes individuals to engage in self-discovery through Zen meditation. The Zen Center provides regular structured Zen meditation sessions through Zoom throughout the week, intended to support participants in fostering tranquility and mental clarity. By engaging in self-reflection, practitioners are able to develop an objective outlook on reality, enhance their comprehension of life's challenges, and cultivate inner peace and wisdom.
Monday, Wednesday, & Friday Evenings (Central Time):
8 - 8:45 PM - Meditation
8:50 - 9 PM - Chanting
9 - 9:15 PM - Brief practice sharing
Open to practitioners of all levels. Occasional guidance or instruction may be offered during these sessions. You are welcome to participate at any time during the sitting meditation session.

Weekly Sunday Community Meditation Service
(9 AM – Noon; Central time)
Sunday mornings present an excellent opportunity for individuals to engage with the GTMC community. The weekly Sunday dharma talks facilitate ongoing education about Zen Buddhism and allow participants to better acquaint themselves with the teachers. Attendance is welcome at any segment of the Sunday program, which comprises meditation sessions and social interaction.
Participation is free, though donations are appreciated.

Introduction to Zen Meditation Class
GTMC offers weekly Introduction to Zen Meditation Class (every Thursday evening, 6 – 7:15 PM, Central Time) for individuals seeking to learn about Zen meditation or obtain an introduction to its principles. The class features comprehensive meditation instruction, accompanied by discussions on incorporating meditation and Zen philosophies into daily life.
The class will be conducted via Zoom. Kindly be prepared to begin promptly at 6PM, ensure your camera is activated throughout the session, and engage actively as this will be an interactive experience.
This class is open to the public at no cost. Voluntary donations are gratefully accepted.
